Agreed this is another thing been requesting since starting InkSoft years ago just figured when I joined InkSoft this would not even be an issue and that would be how it should operate. After creating my first proposal years ago, requested this immediately and has not been implemented. Even if it didn't go by art like if creating a proposal with no art and estimating art cost, just a simple way to link items to the same print run. When ever I figure a proposal I have to keep a copy of the screen print matrix on hand and manually re-figure almost every proposal adjust set up fees and it's ridiculous and getting old. I know DecoNetwork and StarQuoter this is not an issue and thinking of switching because of this and other things when have time, Already have a crazy amount of time into Inksoft and now thinking about switching and putting all that time into another platform does not sound like fun but might not have a choice.
